With this week’s huge selection of awesome posts, I had to stop while the post was still manageable. What an awesome list!

The hero in my WIP is quiet and introverted. While these might sound like interesting, manly traits, it makes him quite difficult to write in a dialogue because he doesn’t say anything! This awesome post on Hidden Emotions gives tips and links to more posts on how to show the reader what your character is feeling but not saying. It’s a great post by another awesome site, Writers Helping Writers.
This one was a lovely post, so beautifully written I sighed at the end. It’s on giving up writing and its written by Monica Bhide on Writer Unboxed.

Great list as usual. The Hidden Emotions post is incredibly helpful! Thanks!

LOL!!
No really. You can watch online. Kick hubs out and enjoy…then tell me they do the story justice so I can watch it later this week after West goes to bed.
Be honest. You’re going to see it.
Yeah, but later this week when I can make time to enjoy it. Tuesday maybe. BUT I will be ready to pull the cover over my eyes at any given second and peek out at the pivotal scenes I want them to nail. Picture me talking to the TV like men do during sports.
“Oh man, I can’t believe they did that!” and “Wow, that was executed perfectly!” with some whimpers and a frustrated groan when the episode is over.
You’re hilarious. Figures. I’m at a coffee shop drinking coffee. I’m going to get a Pavlovian reflex for the drink.
Ha! Okay, you can’t watch it public. That would be awkward. I tweeted to ask how it was. Should get some interesting responses.
AND…it could put you “in the mood” to write a scene or two. BONUS! 😉
LOL
HA! the first episode is titled Sassenach of course!
That’s awesome!
