If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that our little tree, Hope, finally has her colours right. She’s just a little thing but she’s a beautiful shade of red now and we couldn’t be more delighted.
This was Hope before
This is her now
Hope in her beautiful colours
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that this has to be one of my favourite times of year. It’s both beautiful and amazing outside. I take every chance to walk with my doggies and enjoy the view. It’s that amazing.
That’s Hope too 🙂
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that our dogs are now shedding their coats…or at least dropping hair like teens drop adjectives. It’s made my vacuum a daily necessity.
This is what happens when I brush my dogs
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that work is all-consuming now. It’s the time of year when it’s so busy, it’s easy to stay late into the day and sometimes into the night. So, of course, this is when our house has decided to throw a fit and our garage door, our dishwasher and our phone have all broken down at the same time.
In the meantime…how are you? How are things?Thank you so much for reading! And a huge thanks to Eclectic Alli for hosing Coffee Share!
Our little new maple is finally starting to clue in to the weather and change colours.
I should explain, if you’re wondering what on earth I’m talking about, that we planted a new tree in our yard when we had to take down an ash tree. I named her Hope and I’ve been keeping a careful eye on her. She seems to have taken to our yard, looking quite happy and green in her spot. But it did worry me when all around her the other trees were quickly changing colour in response to the drop in temperature but Hope was blissfully continuing with her green hue. Maybe our little Hope needed some remedial help in tree education or something.
I was really happy to finally detect changes in her leaves a couple of days ago. Phew!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you that it’s finally fall here. Fall in Canada has a crispy, cool feel to the air that’s unique to this time of year. It’s cold but it doesn’t have the harsh bite of winter’s winds so it’s lovely. The leaves are beautiful too. They explode into a million shades of yellow, gold and bold reds that makes walking a spiritual experience.
So, to the delight of my two fluff-balls of dogs, we had two walks today. It was just that gorgeous outside.
If we were having coffee I’d tell you that I just survived a professional ‘development’ day where the most useful thing I learned was that the ladies in that particular cafeteria don’t know the difference between a vegan and a velociraptor if one bit them on the leg.
This was their version of a vegan lunch…
If we were having coffee I’d share these jokes to make you smile.
