It’s a lovely Sunday morning here in Akita country. It’s early though. This morning our two fluff balls woke me up at 6am because…well, just because they were up and they wanted me up too. Knowing there are battles I can win and battles that are better left alone, I cursed them and their hairy ancestors, and got up. A cup of coffee later, I felt human enough to hug and kiss them properly.
And then they saw them.
Two rabbits. Not one, two. The sheer numbers almost sent Ocean bouncing to the roof.
The rabbits were super cute and clearly sick of paparazzi because they didn’t let me take a single picture. They ate their breakfast and left; unlike Ocean and River who remain mesmerized at the window, hoping for herds of bunnies to come out of the foliage.
I’ll try to take them on a walk by where we saw the rabbits today. They’ll be able to smell the little creatures and get all excited. Then we’ll walk around, smell the leaves and admire the colours.
There are possibilities in the country.
