Teaser Thursday isn’t a real book meme but my usual schedule is all out of whack. Normally, I post teasers on Tuesdays. I got this idea from the bookish meme Teaser Tuesdays hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Here’s how it works.

• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
